Hello and welcome to Frolly and Pom!

We're a mother and daughter collective from the South Coast of Cornwall and we are so excited to share with you our handmade headwear and snazzy accessories!

Think fun fabrics, bright colours and pompoms.

I packed up my bags one Tuesday evening after work and headed to Paddington train station. With a gin and tonic in a tin and a packet of salty crisps, I caught the train back home to Flushing, bound for my dear friend’s wedding.

The weather in Cornwall was tropical and with a few days before the festivities began, I decided my cornflower blue outfit deserved a POP of colour.

I jumped on the ferry from Flushing to Falmouth and headed for Trago Mills where I bought a gorgeous yolky orange twill, a needle and some thread. I returned home to the quay and began to sew! A lot of slipped threads, un-picking and cups of tea later, I finished Frolly and Pom‘s first head band and matching bag duo!

Little did I know that this would be the start of exciting things to come.
